About

The tank at the end of the virtual pipeline.

LNGVault is the division of CNGdelivery that owns the storage side of behind-the-meter gas power for data centers.

Why a storage company

CNGdelivery has spent years moving compressed and liquefied natural gas by trailer to industrial customers with no pipeline. Data centers changed the scale of that business: a 50 MW plant needs a trailer every two hours, and no operator can promise that cadence without a buffer on site. Fuel logistics providers do not own stationary storage. Tank manufacturers quote 12–18 months. LNGVault exists to close that gap with storage that is already built.

Where the equipment comes from

Gas Equipment 4 Sale acquired the complete equipment fleet of 30 decommissioned LNG vehicle-fueling terminals: 450,000 gallons of vertical cryogenic tank capacity from Chart, CVA, and Taylor-Wharton, about 125 ACD TC-34 pumps, more than 40 CryoQuip and Nikkiso vaporizers, and 16 brand-new control containers with Allen-Bradley PLCs. Under the ArticUno LNG program that fleet is refurbished, recertified, and re-engineered into standardized CryoSurge modules with Markey Cryo and CCH Equipment.

What we do and do not do

LNGVault stores and delivers fuel. We size, permit, install, commission, fill, and maintain LNG storage; we schedule deliveries; we guarantee gas at the battery limit. We do not build or operate the turbines and engines. Under the Power-as-a-Service bundle, generation comes from a partner named in the contract.

Where we work

First wave: Texas, Ohio, and Georgia. Second wave: Virginia and Arizona. Other states by project. Equipment is staged and refurbished in Texas.
