Safety and regulatory disclaimer
LNG storage is regulated equipment. Read this before relying on any layout or timeline on this site.
[USER: have counsel and the engineer of record review before publication.]
Siting and permitting
Every CryoSurge installation is subject to NFPA 59A, 49 CFR Part 193 where applicable, state fire codes, and approval by the local authority having jurisdiction (AHJ). Site arrangements shown on this site are illustrative and are not for construction. Setback distances, containment design, and vapor-dispersion analysis are determined per site by the engineer of record.
Pressure vessels
Vessels are refurbished and recertified before deployment. Repairs to pressure-retaining parts carry the National Board R-stamp. Relief valves are inspected and set-point tested at the intervals required by code.
Operation
Modules must be operated by trained personnel under a site-specific operating and emergency plan. LNGVault provides operator training at commissioning and maintenance under contract.
Scope
LNGVault stores and delivers fuel. Power generation equipment, its emissions permits, and its performance are the responsibility of the owner or the named generation partner.
